What’s the difference between Kettle Corn and Caramel Corn?
Glad you asked! Almost everything we make starts as kettle corn. That means it’s popped in small batches on the stove (a kettle, if you’re being proper), and just the right amount of sugar is added at exactly the right moment while the kernels are still popping. The heat melts the sugar into a light, crackly coating that gives it that classic sweet crunch. We add salt while it's still hot so it blends into the sugar, not overpowers it. The result? Sweet, salty, balanced flavor in every bite.
Caramel kettle corn is its richer cousin. After popping, we stir in a slow-cooked blend of brown sugar, molasses, and white cane sugar, then finish it with a pinch of salt right when it’ll melt into the caramel and deepen the flavor. It’s thick, sticky, and gloriously messy just how it should be.
Is it all popped fresh?
You bet. Every batch is hand-popped in small quantities to lock in that just-made flavor. No shortcuts, no fake butter smells, and no industrial who-knows-when-it-was-made popcorn.
What kind of popcorn do you use?
We use premium US-grown mushroom corn kernels. Those big, round kernels that hold up to flavor like champs. You’ll notice the difference in every bite.
